HI-8598PSIF

The HI-8598 is the world?s first galvanically isolated ARINC 429 line driver, available in a compact 18-pin SOIC plastic package. The device uses a patented capacitive isolation and power regulation to provide 800V galvanic isolation between the analog line driver and the logic interface, ensuring isolation between the ARINC 429 data bus and sensitive digital circuitry. This device is intended for use in safety critical systems, where it is essential to completely isolate any faults on the bus from mission critical electronics, making the HI-8598 a good choice for systems that will ultimately require FAA or EASA DO-254 DAL A certification.
